“No! My download is almost done!”
I’ll probably say that a lot more now that AT&T has joined the bandwagon of capping bandwidth of customers. The only company to not do so is (yet) is Verizon.
Contrary to what I thought, it seems video is the main concern, not BitTorrent. With HD video streaming becoming available, ISPs are challenged with managing bandwidth for all of their customers. If these caps are put in place, I wonder if they will offer customers the option to pay additional cash (as if we’re not spending enough for broadband) to get higher limits.
What are your thoughts?

Like I said, WWDC rumors have hit the fan. Here’s one that recently surfaced, showing the 3G iPhone in an iChat video conferencing call and our favorite phone in Product (RED) color sans a sleep/wake button.
After careful analysis of the new firmware, there is no evidence of video conferencing in the phone. Zilch. It would have been cool, but just another one of those rumors you should take with a grain of salt.
At least this one is a little better than the “unboxing” of iPhone 2.0.

With only two more days left until WWDC ‘08, I’m starting to wet my pants. With the rumors coming out by the boatload, I don’t know what to do with myself.
What I’m eagerly awaiting – as is the rest of the world – is the 3G iPhone. I have no regrets buying my iPhone in March, but I wish I could have waited a little longer for iPhone 2.0. EDGE is excruciatingly slow and I want my MMS and flash. Not to mention App Store!
I’m going to put my iPhone on Ebay with all of the original material, even a few cases. So if you’re interested shoot me an email. It was replaced with a brand new unit from AppleCare on May 21 and I’ve kept it in my Incase Slider hard case since.
iPhone 2.0, here I come!
